Arrival/Departure: Paris Depending on where you arrive in Paris, you will be presented with a number of different possibilities for reaching your final destination. Most people choose between taxi, bus, metro or private transportation based on convenience, budget, and familiarity with the city and language. Upon departure, you should be sure to know which train station or airport terminal you will depart from. This is usually indicated on your ticket (Gare du Nord, Gare de l'est, Gare de Lyon, or Airport Charles de Gaulle Terminal A, B, C, Airport Orly Sud, Orly West, etc). If you are not sure exactly where you will be departing from, your travel provider can give you this information before you depart.
