Now in its third incarnation, the Milliardaire began its life as a Burlesque showroom. Later, as the lounge club, the Cabaret, it was one of the most exclusive nightspots in the city. Recently renovated and under new management it is once again a fabulous place to spend a lively evening. Shake your thang on the tiny stage and rub shoulders with femmes fatales, hipsters and other assorted scenesters. Or belly up to the small bar and break your budget while sampling the premium cocktails. On weekends live percussionists and a saxophone player roam among the tables while accompanying the in-house DJ. The energy is high and people fun. But the club is small, so arrive early to increase your chances of getting past the velvet rope.
