Originally known as Man Ray, this club was an instant success due to its exotic décor and celebrity owners (Johnny Depp, John Malkovich and Sean Penn). Now it’s known as World Place. Weeknights you can enjoy the restaurant downstairs or sip cocktails and enjoy the live DJs upstairs. On weekends the club is the main event and the floor is packed with well-dressed clubbers eager to show off their stuff while top in-house house DJs. For visitors to Paris, or first-timers, this is a good place to start, as the music is great and you may find the entry policy less strict than elsewhere.
